Learn to Play is a program that provides a unique opportunity for families to join the hockey community and for participants to develop fundamental skills to help them succeed both on and off the ice. Created jointly by the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) and the National Hockey League (NHL). Learn to Play’s goal is to inspire youth and welcome more families into the hockey community.

The Aurora Ice Association and East Aurora Beast Hockey is a proud partner of Buffalo Sabres Learn To Play!  The association and Classic Rink have hosted Buffalo Sabres Learn to Play since 2018-2019. 

East Aurora Beast Hockey coaches and older players participate in the program as coaches and mentors to bring the sport of hockey to its newest players!

East Aurora Beast Hockey has welcomed many players from Buffalo Sabres Learn To Play into the 8U and 10U hockey programs after completion of their Learn To Play experience.
